The day of the 4th Croydon Ultra event is rapidly getting nearer.  To ensure everyone has a good day here are a few pointers on getting to the start.

Sunday July 6th

Start : Sandilands, Croydon  – Post Code : CR0 5DB

Start time 09:00 – this is for the main start please arrive at least 30 mins earlier to pick up your number, deposit your bags etc.

There will be an earlier start at 08:00.

Getting there :

Train : The nearest main line train station is East Croydon where the tram also stops. From here it is about a 15 minute walk to Sandilands.

Tram : There is a tram stop at Lloyd Park. From here it is about a 5 -8 minute walk across the park to Sandilands.

Car: Parking – the car park at Sandilands is not huge and will be well used by club members (cricket, hockey, running club etc). So please do not use the car park. There is ample parking on the surrounding streets of Sandilands. The parking is free and it is a very short walk to Sandilands.

  1. Hi Guys,
Can I still enter on the day? If I can make it I’ll take advantage of the earlier 08:00 start for slow runners so what time would registration be open from? I’d be adding a significant number of years to your ‘oldest entry’ if still only 51 😉 so what is the finish cut off time and how many entries do you have now?

    • Bryan
You can enter on the day and you can still enter on line via Runners World. We will be there from about 7AM for the early starters to register.
Age is not an issue for us we look forward to everyone participating. We will be there until the last person. What is your estimate time?
Look forward to seeing you on the day.

      • Hi Ian,
Ok great. On a “good” day I’d get round in something like 6:20; on a not so good day with too many walk breaks it’d be nearer 7 hours. If that’s ok and I can escape domestic duties I’ll try and get along.
